Had 18 wonderful nights in the hotel, Large clean room with great sunset views from the balcony which overlooked the swimming pools. Breakfasts were always very good so thanks to the restaurant Chef. "ALL" Staff were very friendly and helpful and always available to have a chat and give good advice. "Great hotel, staff not very fair" - Luke holland From Canada

Hi, we stayed in the hotel from October 1-5th 2019 in a delux room, on the evening of the 4th we decided to call from desk to book another two nights (5-7th). The staff then told us to book through a third party as it will be cheaper and just let them know the confirmation number. When we finished booking for a lot more money than what we paid from the 1st to 5th I was then called in my room by front desk stating they could give us the same rate that we paid per night from the 1st to 5th. But since we had already booked through a third party because we were told BY THE FRONT DESK to not book through them we ended up paying and extra 1800bht because of the staffs choice to tell us to not book through them in the first place. We then spoke with different staff who could only offer and upgrade from deluxe to pool access which we did not want or a %30 off at the spa for 2 60 minute massages which are already at 15% off to everyone else. I do not think this is fair because it was 100% the staffs fault we lost this money, not ours and they will not give us our money back for the difference. Not fair at all. "Relaxing and Welcoming Atmosphere" - Natasha Towning From Milton Keynes, UK

Had the most wonderful and relaxing stay at Krabi La Playa. It was a home away from home for me. I was surprised by how luxurious my large room was, with a balcony that overlooked the lush tropical gardens. It is just a stones throw away from two beautiful beaches, close to all the action but tucked neatly away from the hustle and bustle in the evenings. I really appreciated the kind and helpful staff who made sure my tours ran smoothly for me and were warm and genuine when greeting me throughout my stay. I felt very welcome and I hope to return again someday soon. Thank you :)

The hotel is positioned well in Ao Nang. It is quiet and hidden but close to everything without being in the main drag. It is clean and neat. You can although see where they have renovated and where some of the old fit out exists. I was in the deluxe room with pool access. I would highly suggest this room type. A nice balcony with a gate and steps into the water very pleasant. The staff were very attentive. The breakfast though needed some attention but it was sufficient. 7/10 for its price range. Clean and that was important to me.

I was expecting a 4-5 stars hotel would provide toothbrush set but actually not, it doesn't bother me even not provided but the staff who answer my request was really rude " No toothbrush and toothpaste, go to shop buy it yourself" what kind of response is it, not even be nice. The reception was extremely rude when I came to the Hotel to ask for room information, I was trying to book a room there in person, the lady who in charge said book it on-line and was showing impatient when dealing with a walk-in customer. Definitely I'm not staying at your hotel next time with I visit Krabi!

Loved the rooms, spacious and well appointed. We were in pool access rooms to the emerald pool, spoilt by children climbing in and out of our private pool and on to balcony, parents did not seem to care. Also had an issue with the bathroom flooding.

This resort is located in between Aonang beach and Nooparathara beach. it is about 5 mins walk from the main road. A lot of restaurants nearby too. The room was nice , spacious and clean. Ours was a pool view deluxe with Jacuzzi. We had 4 pax in this room and we felt that they should supply at least 4 bottles of drinking water per room instead of 2. It is pretty hot and humid in Krabi. They have to provide 4 towels too. The swimming pool is beautiful & my kids enjoyed it. The buffet breakfast was good but limited choice. Some of the staff are helpful but some seems not so friendly. Overall, it's a good stay.

A well placed hotel within 10 minutes walking distance to quiet beaches and plenty of eating places.. The rooms were very large with a large balcony. The rooms were cleaned everyday and tidy with good amenities. The staff were very helpful and friendly and any problems were sorted out very promptly. There was a very large clean swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar. There was a varied selection of food at breakfast. Very good value for money and I would recommend it for adults and families.

Was upgraded to pool access rooms as the hotel was undergoing renovation during our booking period. They offered options and the room upgrade came with a complementary dinner too. Was a very nice gesture on the part of the management. Transport to and back to airport was also provided at a reasonable cost. No regrets staying at this hotel. Location wise not too far from Ao Nang beach. The tour clerk who arranged our island hopping was very helpful and is an asset to the hotel.

Having stayed half a dozen times we do love his hotel for location, size of rooms and most importantly the pool. I booked our most recent stay on the hotels own website and prepaid the stay. This booking was made several months before our arrival date. I left a comment saying we were regular guests and we’d booked a pool access room and would love to have the room we’d had before that had pool access next to where the pool bar is. After a very long flight we couldn’t wait to be back to our favourite place. Only to be told on check in that the pool was closed for a few months!! Obviously my initial reaction was anger and why hadn’t I been told this when I booked?!! Then we were told the new pool was open and we had a pool access room there. All in all the room was lovely however it was bitter sweet as I still feel we should have been told when we made the booking to give us the option to decide if we still wanted to stay there. Having worked in 4 star hotels myself I feel this is poor customer service. We are coming back to Ao Nang at the end of April next year and unsure where to stay as this has left a disappointing feeling with us.

The hotel was in a great location with a convenience store at either entrance, and the main road of bars and restaurants just a very short walk away. The staff at the pool bar were accommodating and very fun, as well as some lovely staff at breakfast. The rooms were beautiful, especially the pool access room at the emerald pool. If I ever returned to Krabi, I would definitely stay there again.

We had a top of the range room that opened directly onto the pool. It was very convenient for utilising the pool facilities however, the room itself was sparsly furnished and the bathroom in particular was of a poor standard for the cost of the room. We were very annoyed at the lack of a late check out facility in a hotel that was no where near fully booked. Breakfast was of an average quality but not inspiring and the gym facilities were far from adequate. Very much a functional hotel and not great value for money. We would definitely not stay in the top range rooms again, as there was no quantifiable benefit for the increase in cost.

The pool area and the friendly and smiling staff was outstanding. The bed (matress) could be a bit softer and some improvements in the staffs english language. But all in all a very nice and comfortably hotel. Further more the Ao Nang scenery with the mountains and the lovely islands is more than worth visiting.
